OPTICS: *Some brand new lenses may occasionally have a slight amount of micro dust visible inside the lens elements. This is a result of the manufacturing process and will not affect image quality or resolution. As a result, previously owned lenses like this one will generally exhibit the same consistence. Also, sometimes, some micro dust can be attracted to the glass surface, and it can be blown away.

Difference between Scratch and Cleaning Marks on Glasses

*Scratch on the Glass of a lens: You can feel when you gently run a fingernail across it. A scratch mark if it is deep enough may affect image quality.

*Hairline/cleaning marks on the Glass of a lens: It is only on the coating and cannot be felt. They will not refract light and will not affect any image quality.

Rating is based on level of signs of use and wear for blemishes, scuffs, paint chips, scratches, dents, ding, etc. on each item.

Unopened (100%) : Pre-owned but the box is factory sealed.

Like New/Others (99%): Pre-Owned, but item is in new conditions, or opened for photos.

Mint (97-98%): Used, but hardly any signs of use and wear are visible, displaying very little imperfections, such as extremely minor scratches, paint chips, marks etc.

Near Mint (94-96%): Used, but little signs of use and wear are visible, displaying minor and insignificant cosmetic blemishes, such as small scratches, paint chips, marks etc.

Excellent++ (91 - 93-%): Used, but minor signs of use and wear are visible, displaying insignificant cosmetic blemishes, such as small scratches, paint chips, marks, minor dent, or ding etc.

Excellent+ (88-90%): Used, but light signs of use and wear are visible, displaying insignificant cosmetic blemishes, such as small scratches, paint chips, marks, minor dent or ding etc.

Excellent (85- 87%): Used, but moderate signs of use and wear are visible, displaying insignificant cosmetic blemishes, such as scratches, paint chips, marks, minor dent, or din etc.

Good (80-84%): Used, but normal signs of use and wear are visible displaying normal but insignificant cosmetic blemishes, such as scratches, paint chips, marks, minor dent, ding etc.

Fair (75 – 79%): Used, but below normal signs and wear are visible, displaying significant cosmetic blemishes, such as scratches, paint off, marks, dents, ding etc.

Poor (below 74 %): Heavily used, poor signs of use and wear are visible, displaying significant cosmetic blemishes, such as deep/heavy scratches, heavy paints off, deep marks, heavy dents/ ding, etc.

Since the item is not available for your physical inspection, it is our policy to offer you detailed descriptions of each item and up-load up to 12 photo images, taken from various angles. Although we have tried to describe the item as accurately as possible, we might have missed something that may be important to you. For us to provide you with a sense of security and confidence, we inspect every item by taking following 3 steps.

1. Before we acquire an item, we ask a seller for detail descriptions in optical, cosmetic, and technical conditions if the seller’s descriptions are very brief and limited.

2. Upon receipt of an item, we carefully inspect the item to make sure that the item is in the same condition as described by a seller.

3. When the item is ready to be listed in our eBay store and our website, we again inspect the item to make sure that the item is ready to be listed with detail descriptions. The list price is determined based on the condition of the item.

4. When an item is sold and paid, we make a final inspection of the item to ensure that the item is in the same condition as we have described before packing. After a final inspection is made, we will prepare an invoice, which includes the final inspection report.

NOTE: The focusing and aperture ring movement will be recorded to prove their proper functions, which will be used for our future reference in case a buyer claims the problems.

If we find any discrepancies before packing the item, we will notify a buyer of discrepancies and offer you with the following options:

1. We will cancel your purchase and issue a full refund if you are no longer interested in the item.

2. We will offer you a replacement lens with equal or higher value if a buyer prefers to this option.

Since an item is previously used and sold as is, there may be minor discrepancies or oversight in description.

To be eligible for the return which the seller agrees, your item must be unused other than inspecting and testing the item and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

For the convenience to a buyer, we offer 14 days Return. This does not mean that you can use the item for 14 days free and then you want to send back it for a refund. It means that upon receipt of the item you inspect and test the item. If you find that the item is not what is described, you must notify the problem immediately to the seller. When the seller acknowledges your claim, you have a maximum of 14 days before you send it back to the seller. Longer you wait to send it back, more possibility you will be charged with the usage fee.

The followings are excluded from FREE RETURN.

• You falsely report an item is not what is described or damaged, so you can claim a partial or a full refund.

NOTE: Prior to packing a lens, the focusing and aperture ring movement is being recorded to show both focus and aperture rings are in working condition. The video recording will be provided to eBay customer service should a buyer claim for defective focusing/aperture function.

• You buy an item with intention to use it and then want to return the item for a full refund.
• You claim for something not offered in the original listing.
• You simply changes your mind, don’t like the item, or find another identical item which is less expensive than what you have paid.

If you claim a full or partial refund with any of these exclusions which are stated in Item 1 through Item 4 above, we are entitled to deduct some amount or percentage from the purchase price. The amount of deduction is determined depending on the type of exclusion stated above.

INTERNATIONAL RETURN:

Regardless of conditions, an item is not what is described, or is any of the exclusions stated in the return policy for a domestic return, a international buyer is responsible for a return shipping fee. So please ask any questions before making a commitment to buy as an international return will cause financial burden to both a buyer and a seller.
