The Summicron-R 90mm f2 is considered a favorite for the R system by many. It’s a Mandler design after all, known for rather chubby little lens, very heavy, and built like a tank.

Fast lens speed of the Leica Summicron-R 90 mm f/ 2  makes it possible to shoot in poor light conditions.

It has a very reliable frame construction. The movement of the rings is soft and smooth.

When used with the LEICA APO-EXTENDER-R 2x, this lens becomes a telephoto lens with a focal length of 180 mm and lens speed of f/4.

By means of adapters, it can be easily used on modern SLR and mirrorless cameras.

The Leica Summicron-R 90 mm is fit for portrait and artistic photography of various genres.
